Cathy Dunning, CPA, CFE
Cathy is a partner in Specialty Accounting at HORNE where, since 2006, she has worked with the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency in recovery accounting oversight and has served as director of that project since January 2007.
Cathy joined HORNE in June of 1998 as part of a merger with her previous employer, May and Company. Prior to her involvement in disaster relief management and compliance, she spent the majority of her time working with attorneys on a wide range of litigation matters involving bankruptcy, tax, construction and occupational fraud. She has earned the designation of Certified Fraud Examininer.
Cathy graduated from Mississippi State University where she earned her Master of Public Accountancy in May of 1994 and her Bachelor of Public Accountancy in May of 1993.
