Barney B. Hebert, J.D.
Barney is a director in HORNE’s Health Care Services where he focuses on offering consulting on strategic planning, organizing physicians into managed care entities such as Independent Practice Associations (IPAs) and Physician-Hospital Organizations (PHOs), re-engineering practice structures and reviewing managed care contracts. He also presents managed care seminars and regularly publishes articles in local and regional publications related to the above topics. He has served as interim administrator for small and medium sized IPAs and for a large, regional PHO.
Barney joined HORNE in 1995. Prior to this he clerked for the Mississippi Supreme Court and practiced law in the private sector, primarily in litigation and business related matters.
Barney is a 1976 graduate of Louisiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in business and a 1989 graduate of Mississippi College School of Law.
