Bruce Journeay, CFE
Bruce joined the HORNE Franchise Economic Unit in 2005 as a business development consultant. Bruce concentrates on building relationships and client communication with franchisors and franchisees. He also works with clients on general consulting services such as operations and financial review. He operates in Denver, CO, and works with our franchise offices expanding our franchise concepts base.
Early in his career, Bruce was a franchise consultant, responsible for the enforcement of company policies to 24 Domino’s Pizza franchisees. He taught franchise and management classes, trained franchisees in new products and assisted in local and regional marketing development. He developed and assisted in the opening of approximately 135 traditional and non-traditional stores in eight states. Bruce was named Domino’s Pizza Franchise Consultant of the Year in 1986 and 1999.
In 2003, Bruce took on the role as new store developer-special projects with Quiznos Sub LLC in Denver, CO. This new venture brought him much success in that he was able to open two of the highest volume stores in the United States and developed the Quiznos School Lunch Program. He was also the project manager of the “One Step Ahead” project that re-imaged 1,900 stores.
Bruce has a Bachelor of Administration in Earth Science, Geology which he attained at the University of Northern Colorado. He is a certified trainer in “Train the Trainer” teaching more than 75 financial classes on evaluating income and balance statements.
