Tara C. May, CPA, QKA
Tara is a partner in Retirement Plan Consulting and Administration Services for HORNE in the Jackson, MS, office.
She began her career with Crowell Hart & Company, Ltd. in 1994 and joined HORNE as part of the merger of Crowell Hart & Company, Ltd. in June of 2001. She specializes in consulting with companies on new plan design options, including both existing plan transitions and the establishment of new plans for employers. She also assists investment professionals with specialized retirement plan services, for their clients, as well as enrollment meetings. Tara supervises the third-party plan administration services for qualified plans, including contribution calculations, plan allocations, discrimination testing, maintenance of individual employee accounts and service records, and reporting to governmental agencies. She also handles client consultation services with the Internal Revenue Service and Department of Labor.
Tara graduated from the University of Mississippi where she earned her bachelor’s of accountancy in May of 1994.
