Michael A. Roberts, CPA
Mike joined HORNE in 1986 as a staff accountant. In 1988, Mike became the partner in charge of the Franchise Economic Unit which includes offices in Nashville, TN, Tucson, AZ, Mobile, AL, and Lucedale, MS, that offers a portfolio of services to various franchises and to national geographic markets. He serves on HORNE’s Operations and Technology Committees.
With 20 years of experience in franchise accounting, Mike’s practice is concentrated in tax and management advisory services to franchisees with a significant focus on fast-food and fast-causal restaurants. Mike has had articles published in The Pizza Market Quarterly and has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal and Restaurant News. He is the co-author of Accounting Handbook for Medical Practices.
Mike earned a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Louisiana State University. He is licensed to practice in Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee, Colorado, Kentucky, Alabama and Louisiana.
