Jason Darby, CPA
Jason specializes in assisting taxpayers in the State and Local Tax (SALT) areas of income and franchise tax, sales and use tax, credits and incentives, employment tax, abandoned and unclaimed property, and property tax. Specifically his role at HORNE LLP is to help clients comply with their state tax filing responsibilities, while minimizing those subsequent tax liabilities. While based in Nashville, he will be a firm wide resource for the tax department on all matters relating to various types of state and local taxes.
Prior to joining HORNE LLP Jason practiced in public accounting for 10 years, spending the last eight years dedicated to the area of State and Local Taxation. .
Jason graduated from Union University, Jackson, TN, with a degree in accounting.
